PHIX CEO Albert Hasper was honored to participate in a round table discussion with His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of The Netherlands at PhotonDelta in Eindhoven. The King learned about the strong integrated photonics ecosystem in the Netherlands and how this technology offers sustainable solutions to many societal and technological challenges.

Round table discussion on integrated photonics
The round table discussion was part of a visit of the King to Holst Centre and PhotonDelta. Topics included the innovative applications of integrated photonics, the state of the Dutch ecosystem, and its readiness for production scale-up. Albert was impressed with how knowledgable the King already was on the subject of photonics. He displayed much curiosity and asked relevant questions about the direction that the industry is taking.
