PHIX is proud to have received ISO 9001 certification. This significant milestone demonstrates our maturity as an photonics packaging contract manufacturer and certifies our commitment to quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
ISO 9001 is the world’s most recognized quality management standard, developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It sets out the criteria for a quality management system (QMS) and is based on several quality management principles, such as a process-driven approach, strong focus on customer needs, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Achieving this certification is part of PHIX’s roadmap to further ramping up volume production of modules based on photonic integrated circuits in the state-of-the-art facility in Enschede, The Netherlands, which we occupied in June 2024. As we continue to grow and evolve, this quality management system will serve as a foundation for the further professionalization of our photonics packaging solutions for our customers all over the world.
