What is phix?

Phix is a powdered drink mix that provides a gentle, sustained lift in energy and increased mental clarity. It also contains 17 essential vitamins and minerals that support the systems in your body that help you feel more energetic day in and day out.

How does phix work?

Phix contains herbs traditionally used to help provide energy, including Yerba maté, green tea, and Eleuthero. It also contains minerals and vitamins that have been found to help prevent or treat fatigue in clinical research trials. Unlike other energy drink products, phix is designed to provide both immediate and sustained support. The product uses only all-natural ingredients, and is safe and effective with daily use.

How do I mix phix?

If you’re adding phix to a bottle of water, take a few gulps so that you have 1.5 to 2 inches of room at the top. Next pour phix into your bottle. Put the bottle cap back on and shake for 15 seconds. If you’re mixing phix in a glass, we suggest you pour phix into the empty glass first, add an ice cube or two, pour in cold water and stir until all the goodness has dissolved. On chilly mornings we’ve also been known to add hot water to phix.

Phix is slightly effervescent, so if you’re sitting in an airplane at 30,000 feet or on a mountain summit you’ll want to make sure that you take a couple extra gulps of water out of your bottle before adding in phix — We’d hate to see you create a mini Mentos®/Coke® moment!

Can I add sweetener to it?

Phix was created intentionally to be just a tad sweet. Some of you may want yours a bit sweeter. If that sounds like you we suggest adding your sweetener of choice as needed.

Does phix have caffeine in it?

One serving of phix contains 80 mg of caffeine, which comes from Yerba maté. This is about the same amount that you'd find in an average cup of coffee. And, while it is a stimulant, many people find that Yerba maté affects them very differently than caffeine from coffee. It is often referred to as calming energy because it provides you with a smooth even lift without all the ups and downs of other products.

What is Yerba Maté?

Yerba maté is a plant native to South America with a moderate stimulant activity. It has a pleasant, nutty flavor, and is a traditional hot drink in many countries of the Southern hemisphere. Researchers have found that extracts of this plant can aid weight loss, both through the stimulant effect and by beneficial changes in gastrointestinal physiology. Yerba maté has been shown to help prevent tissue damage related to high blood sugar.

Can I take too much phix?

Phix has been conservatively formulated to insure that is completely safe whether you take one or many. We recommend one to three doses per day as the optimal amount.

Why is it that color?

Phix gets its earthy color from the Yerba maté and green tea leaves as well as all the vitamins and minerals that are swirling around in there. While there's no doubt that phix has a lot going on in it, you'll find that the flavor is extremely light and refreshing. While it might taste like it, this isn't flavored water.

Is phix safe for anyone?

Phix is completely safe. Like any high-potency vitamin, phix should not be taken in excessive doses. One to three capsules per day is recommended. Pregnant women should consult their doctors before using phix.

Does phix replace my daily vitamin?

Phix is a great daily nutritional supplement and comes packed with 17 essential vitamins and minerals. However, depending on age, gender and other variables, there may be other nutrients that you still need to supplement.

What about your packaging?

At phix we’re focused on getting good things into you and keeping bad things out of the Earth. The environment is important to us and we try hard to play our part as good world citizens, using recycled or recyclable materials whenever possible. We've designed our cool phix tubes to be reused and refilled and what's greener than that? And when you ultimately do throw one away you can feel good because the tubes contain an ingredient that helps make them more readily biodegradable. Our phix stix are made out of aluminum and are designed to have an extremely small waste footprint. And lastly, you'll also notice that our packaging as a whole is kept to a minimum and we use recycled paper whenever possible.

Is it true that the guy who invented the wrap started phix?

Yes, our founder and CEO, Will Weisman, was one of the founders of World Wrapps, the San Francisco company which created the food product the wrap. We think phix is just as revolutionary and hope that you'll be hearing a lot more about what we're doing in the coming years.
